Ready-Curry™ : Q/A - Guidelines for use

What can I cook with Ready-Curry™?

You can use Ready-Curry™ with almost any main ingredient that you are used to currying. Channa and aloo (potato), any of your favorite meats (domestic and wild), ochro, bodi, stringed beans, corn, cabbage, boiled eggs, tofu, sea food and the list goes on and on. Ready-Curry™ is completely vegetarian so it can be used in religious functions. For a river, bush or beach lime cook, you would not need to carry anything but a pot, a stove, a spoon, water, Ready-Curry™ and your favorite main dish (seasoned or not). Your curry dish would be done faster than you think, with far less hassle and cleanup which means more time to savor your meal and enjoy the lime or function even more. It is perfect for a late night fast curry cook when the curry crave hits. After work, you may be tired and hungry, so if you do not feel to gather and prepare all your ingredients to make your curry dish, Ready-Curry™ saves you time from start to finish cooking as it eliminates the time to gather seasonings, curry powder, oil, spices etc. It eliminates the time taken to initially "fry" or cook your curry before introducing your main ingredient. University students may find Ready-Curry™ perfect for making a curry dish as time is critical whilst studying. While Ready-Curry™ can be perfect to be used to make 1-2 lbs. main ingredient dishes, it can be used to make large, catering size dishes just as well. Ready-Curry™ promotes consistency to your curry dish time after time! Try it with those main ingredients you think you can't make or never made, you will surprise yourself and your guests!

How do I use Ready-Curry™?

Ready-Curry™ comes in 1/2 cup (125g) and 1 cup (250g) vacuum sealed, tamper proof, resealable packets. Tamper proof so you know its pure. Vacuum sealed so it can last longer in the refrigerator or freezer. Resealable so you can zip the bag and place back in the refrigerator or freezer to keep fresh and reduce any curry smell in your fridge. With Ready-Curry™, you do not need to find oil, curry powder, seasonings, spices, onion, ginger and garlic to make a curry dish. To cook, say 2 lbs. chicken, you can use approximately 85g to yield plenty of curry sauce that is rich, thick and mouthwatering with lots of flavor, to have with your favorite rice or roti (sada, paratha, dhalpuri). If you desire to cook with less gravy or lighter curry flavor, you can use less Ready-Curry™ to suit your palette. Likewise, if you prefer a stronger curry flavor, with more sauce, you can use a bit more Ready-Curry™. To cook 2 lbs. channa (chick peas) with 2 medium potatoes, you can use the approximately 85g Ready-Curry™ which will give you enough sauce to have with your favorite roti or even bara (famous "doubles"). To cook most vegetables like string beans, bodi, cabbage etc, you should consider using approximately 1/4 cup (60g) to a pound of vegetables. For richer, stronger curry flavor, you can use the more Ready-Curry™ for every pound of vegetables. With Ready-Curry™ you can add more before the end to adjust the strength of curry and amount of sauce.
Note, there are no hard and fast rules when it comes to using Ready-Curry™. We all have a different liking as to how strong a curry flavor we can tolerate. You can use as much or as little Ready-Curry™ based on your taste. Ready-Curry™ is designed to be used, by amount, to satisfy yours and your guests taste of the curry dish. The above guidelines is just to give you an idea of how you may use it. As you continue to use Ready-Curry™ on a regular basis, you will be able to understand better the amount you need to use in your favorite dishes to make them enjoyable.
Also, for any dish that you employ Ready-Curry™, there is no need to add additional oil. Ready-Curry™ has the right amount of healthy pure Canola Oil incorporated already. Read on lower to see our list of list of ingredients for Ready-Curry™.

Can Ready-Curry™ be kept in the freezer?

Absolutely! Ready-Curry™ is kept best for longer periods when frozen. It is packaged in an airtight, resealable, leak free packaging which eliminates a messy fridge and freezer burn. It is also easier to break apart the contents when frozen to "measure" you desired recipe amount. Ready-Curry™ also exits the packet easier to get into the pot. Frozen, Ready-Curry™ can be stored for up to 9 - 12 months in original vacuum sealed packaging. It can be stored in the refrigerator for more than 2-3 months, but it may never get to remain for that time as you would use it up quickly I assure you!

Do I need to season meats before cooking with Ready-Curry™ ?

The answer to this is yes or no. As mentioned before, there are no hard and fast rules when using Ready-Curry™. Many satisfied users including myself, have tried it both ways on a regular basis and the finished dish tasted as delectable and moreish as ever. Remember, Ready-Curry™ is loaded with all the main green seasonings and spices in specific amounts. It is designed to be used with or without out seasoning your main ingredient. Ready-Curry™ contains curry powder, canola oil, shado beni (bandanya or culantro), celery, chive, garlic, onion, pimento, thyme, parsley, ginger, paprika, chili pepper, black pepper, cumin, cayenne pepper and a little salt. To make it simple, if you normally season your meats or vegetables before currying, continue to do so.
